Add Funds to Airbase.

Airbase Balance is used for Virtual and Physical Card transactions.

Add funds manually. 

Follow these steps to manually load your Airbase clearing account:

• Go to the Accounting page.
• Find the Load Money widget on the right.
• Set the load amount and hit Load.

Funds will be available for use at the end of the third business day after initiating the transfer.

Unload funds.

You can also unload money from Airbase and transfer it back to your bank account. 

Follow these steps to unload funds:

• Go to the Accounting section. 
• Click on the Unload Money widget. 
• Set the amount that you would like to unload and hit Unload.

The funds will be credited to your bank account in one business day.

Use caution when unloading money from Airbase. You may end up in a situation where vendor charges are declined because of insufficient balance.

Available balance.

The amount of money in your Airbase clearing account is displayed in the top right section of the accounting section. This amount is balance available for use in Virtual and Physical Cards. 

Virtual and Physical Cards:

Ledger Balance includes pending transactions and available balance at a given point in time. Pending Credits is the money that was loaded using the Load Money widget or Auto Load, but is not a part of Available Balance.

Bill Payments:

When an ACH transfer is initiated to load money to Airbase, it’ll take 3 business days before it is available in Airbase. On initiation, till the money is available in Airbase, it’ll show up as Pending Credits. Once the money is credited in Airbase clearing account, it then becomes Ledger Balance. However, when the transfer is completed, the Ledger Balance will become 0. 

The Available Balance may be less than the Ledger Balance in case there are pending transactions that haven't settled yet. 

Bank account.

During onboarding, you will add your bank account that will be used to fund airbase for your Virtual Cards and Physical Cards as well as pay bills.

The account information can be found in Settings > Bank Accounts.
