For a Virtual Card that’s charged on a recurring basis, you will get an email reminder when a renewal for the subscription is due.
To set this up, you need to use the Lock Card feature.
You can lock the card in a future based on the length of the contract or an estimated amount of time. It's the best practice to set up a lock date a few weeks before renewal so that you have enough time to get the necessary approvals.
You will receive an email notification reminding you about the lock date, so you can take further action. Once the card has locked, all charges will be declined.
To lock a card, you need Manage card spend controls User Permission.
