Airbase allows you to set auto-load limits so the balance in Airbase never falls below a threshold. For example, if the Airbase balance falls below $50,000, you can configure Airbase to auto-load $10,000.
Follow these steps to set up the Threshold Amount for Auto-load:
- Go to Settings > Bank Accounts.
- Click Edit Auto-load Settings on the Auto-load Funds widget to the right.
- Set the Threshold Amount you have in mind. If funds ever fall below the Threshold Amount, Airbase will initiate an ACH debit from your bank account to load more funds.
- For an Auto-load, set the amount you would like to be automatically added when the balance falls below the Threshold Amount.
Airbase will send you an email notification after every auto-load.
Funds will be available for use at the end of the third business day after initiating the transfer.
It is recommended you set the Auto-load amount and Threshold amount to 25% of your monthly card spend. This will ensure there’s enough Airbase Balance available for card payments at all times and prevent declined payments. For example, if your monthly card spend (both Virtual Cards and Physical Cards) is $100,000, then it is recommended to set $25,000 as the Threshold amount and $25,000 as your autoload amount.
