What’s New.
General Ledger tag visibility.
Control the Transaction Tags visible to Users while they create, request, or update the transaction tags in Airbase. This will reduce possible confusion and errors when Users categorize transactions.
What’s Improved.
Delete bills in your GL upon archival.
Archiving bills in Airbase will delete the bills in your GL.
New User Permissions.
The new Manage Users, Roles, and Departments User Permission gives an Airbase User access to People and Departments pages. Users with the permissions can:
- Invite a new User to Airbase.
- Remove, as well as update, the details of existing Airbase Users.
- Create, delete, and assign User Roles to Airbase Users.
- Manage User Permissions set on User Roles.
- Create and delete departments in Airbase.
- Assign departments to Airbase Users.
- Export details of Airbase Users.
New Live Beta Feature.
Spend Alias.
If your company pays for the same service with two different Virtual Cards, distinguishing between them will be difficult.
The new Spend Alias feature will allow you to rename the Virtual Card to your liking. You can name them to whatever you like, but we recommend a naming system that uses the card’s department or function. The new alias will show up in accounting, emails, Slack notifications, Airbase Mobile app, and so on.
Please note that this feature is still in beta and may be altered and improved based on feedback from initial use. If you’d like to opt-out of this feature, please write to us at support@airbase.io.
What’s on the horizon.
Receipt Inbox.
Tracking receipts sent via email to Airbase has never been easier. Airbase will match the receipts with their corresponding transactions. This will reduce the manual labor it takes to track receipts, and matching them with transactions.
New bill payment settings to sync directly to your GL.
Choose to have bill ledger entries sync with your GL, either upon creation or upon approval.
