Send Virtual Card, Physical Card, and Reimbursement receipts to Airbase via email.
Airbase provides two separate email addresses to forward the receipts to:
Every Spend Owner in your organization using Airbase can send the receipts to the email address email@example.com. Airbase will match the receipts with the corresponding transactions charged to the Virtual Card or Physical Card owned by the User.
Say, if Emily sends a receipt for a charge from Facebook to firstname.lastname@example.org, Airbase will check if Emily owns a Virtual Card for Facebook and match the receipt with the transaction. However, if Emily does not own a Virtual Card for Facebook, the receipts will not be matched. The receipt will be marked as Unable to Match.
2. Unique Email.
Airbase provides every Spend Owner with a unique email address. This email can be shared with:
- Vendors, so they can send receipts for the charges on the card you own.
- Other Users who have access to your receipts.
The format of the unique email address will be email@example.com.
For example, for an employee with the email address firstname.lastname@example.org, their unique email address for sending receipts to Airbase will be email@example.com.
However, if there are two employees with the same first name, one user's unique email address will include their last name as well.
For example, if there are two employees with email addresses firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com, their unique email address for sending receipts to Airbase will be firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com respectively.
To find your unique email address:
- Go to Dashboard.
- Click the Receipts' Inbox icon on the top-right corner of the page.
- Find your unique email on the top-right corner of the Receipts page.
The old email address used to send receipts will still work. However, emails sent to the old email address may not be included in the Receipts Inbox if the receipt wasn’t sent from a registered Airbase email address.
