Rippling is an extensive human resource (HR) and IT management tool that allows small and medium businesses to streamline their operations, automate their HR workflows, and make the company productive and secure. This system acts as a single source of truth for the employee information. It allows companies to manage their payrolls, benefits, devices, and apps.
Airbase’s integration with Rippling will aid the HR team or IT team in your organization to:
- Provision and de-provision users.
- Synchronize updates in the users’ accounts.
- Manage employee departments.
- Access information about the company and employees
Using your Rippling Account, you can:
To get started, configure your Airbase and Rippling accounts.
- In your Airbase account, go to People > Users.
- Click Sync with your HRIS.
- In the pop-up, click Connect next to Rippling.
- You’ll be redirected to the Airbase page in Rippling App Shop. Click Connect Account.
- Click Authorize on the page with a list of all the information Airbase needs access to.
- Rippling will request you to complete a few other steps specific to your Rippling account. These steps have no impact on how the Airbase functions. Select the appropriate option.
- Click Continue on the page that will redirect you to your Airbase account.
- A link has now been established between your Airbase and Rippling accounts.
Once the connection is made, the Users will be synced automatically. The synced Users will have the Rippling icon next to their names in Airbase.
However, the Departments need to be synced manually for the first time.
To initiate the first Department Sync between Rippling and Airbase,
- Go to People > Users in your Airbase account.
- Click Sync with your HRIS.
- The option next to Rippling will say Manage if the configuration is successful.
- Click Manage.
- Under the Select Departments tab, select the Departments you want to sync with Rippling.
- Click Synchronize Departments to sync.
- You can also update the Roles and Accounting Policy of Users in the Manage User tab.
- Click Complete when done, and the changes will be saved and synced.
