User Settings in Airbase is associated with managing Airbase Users. This option is typically for the IT Administrators to control how employees in their organization access Airbase.
Airbase Onboarding team will help you with the initial setup on how the employees can initially access Airbase.
However, you can change these settings on the User Settings page.
Users need Manage Users, Roles and Departments User Permission to access the User Settings option in Airbase.
To access User Settings, click on the gear icon on the right-top corner of the People > Users page.
On the User Settings page, you have three options to choose from:
1. Allow access without invitation.
By default, an Airbase User needs an invitation from the Airbase or IT Admin to access their Airbase Account.
With the Allow access without invitation enabled on your Airbase account, any employee with your company’s email address will have access to Airbase. If your organization wants every employee to have access to Airbase, you can enable this option which will save the time it takes the Admin to send Airbase invites to every employee in your organization.
Employees who log into Airbase without an invitation will be assigned the Default User Role.
2. Allow login with One-time code.
If you want Airbase Users to log in using the One-time code, enable this option. Airbase will send the One-time code to users via email.
3. Single Sign-On.
In addition to the One-time code, your employees can log into Airbase using their G Suite, Office 365, or Okta account, depending on the SSO service subscribed by your organization.
