User Roles in Partner Dashboard

The Airbase Partner Dashboard simplifies adding and managing Airbase customers through a Role Based Access Control (RBAC). You can assign specific permissions to a predefined user role in the Partner Dashboard.

User Roles in the Partner Dashboard simplifies user administration and prevents fraud by limiting unauthorized access.

User Roles in the Partner Dashboard

When you belong to a partner account, you assume one of two roles:

  • Partner: This role applies to a user with a partner account on the Partner Dashboard. You are either granted the permissions of an Administrator, or an Employee, or an IT administrator.
  • Customer: This role applies to a user on the Partner dashboard who can perform tasks on behalf of a customer. In this role, you can assume the role of an Administrator or Accountant or Bill Creator or Bill Payer for the customer.

Administrator
  • Manage Users and Roles.
  • Add Customer.
  • View Customers.
  • Assign Users and Roles to Customers.
  • Manage customer’s Airbase account.
IT Administrator Manage Users and Roles
Employee
  • View Customers.
  • Assign Users and Roles to Customers.
Note
A user cannot be assigned more than one Partner role simultaneously. For example, the same user cannot assume the role of both an Administrator and an IT Administrator.

Permission Definitions

Permission Description
Manage Users and Roles
  • Edit, and delete users.
  • Manage Partner Dashboard access through Single Sign-on (SSO) providers such as G Suite, Office 365, and more.
Add Customer Allows you to create new customers to onboard to the Partner Dashboard.
View Customers

Allows you to view all the customers actively managed by you.
Allows you to view all the customers actively managed by you
  • Assign Users and Roles to Customers.
  • Assign and modify specific roles in the customer's Airbase account.
Note
Available only when you are assigned the Administrator role in the customer’s Airbase account.

The Accountant role does not allow the user to transfer money into or out of Airbase.
